Yesterday they had a taste of how it might feel to be evacuated from home with a mini trip to drop them off at unknown destinations in different areas of the countryside.
They have found out about the small amount of luggage they would be able to take; researched towns that they might have been evacuated to; and written diary entries in role as David, from our current novel, Friend or Foe by Michael Morpurgo.
Children from Liverpool were evacuated to Blackpool - some even attended Thames Primary!
